The Synthes Resident Program

The Synthes Resident Program provides structured education in Orthopaedic Trauma and Spine to support orthopaedic residents, fellows, and faculty at teaching hospitals throughout North America.  The program is two-fold.  Online modules provide supplemental learning in preoperative planning, fracture review, and simulated surgical techniques.  Sawbones workshops allow participants to practice techniques outside of the OR using Synthes instruments and implants.

Additional resources include Primal Pictures anatomy, technique guides, surgical videos, podcasts on groundbreaking articles in spine, and vignettes on spine fellowship programs.  As an added benefit to participating in the learning modules and workshops, residents and fellows can earn textbooks, board review materials, and more via the online Resident Store.

Coming soon: Craniomaxillofacial learning modules, cases, and workshops to support residents in neurosurgery, otolaryngology, oral and maxillofacial, plastic and reconstructive surgery.
