chronOS - CMF
chronOS, a synthetic, biocompatible bone void filler, is ideal for many bone void filler applications. The material is a radiopaque β-tricalcium phosphate which contains two of the main mineral constituents of bone, calcium and phosphorus. chronOS is resorbed and replaced by bone in 6-18 months during the healing process. chronOS has been used clinically in Europe for more than 20 years, under the name CEROS 82.

Indications
- Oral/Maxillofacial: chronOS is intended to fill, augment or reconstruct periodontal or bony defects of the oral and maxillofacial region. Specifically, it is intended for the augmentation of deficient maxillary and mandibular alveolar ridges and the treatment of oral, maxillofacial and dental intraosseous defects.
- Craniofacial: chronOS is indicated for the repair or filling of craniofacial defects and craniotomy cuts with a surface area no larger than 25 cm2. Also indicated for the restoration or augmentation of bony contours of the craniofacial skeleton, including fronto-orbital, malar and mental areas.
Contraindications*
