The Cervical Spine Locking Plate (CSLP) was developed by Dr. Edwin Morscher, along with the technical commission of the AO, following the AO principles for internal fixation. Since its introduction to the United States in 1991, CSLP has been used in more than 200,000 anterior cervical fusions. The clinical performance of CSLP has been documented in many peer-reviewed studies.
