The Universal Spine System is intended for use as a posterior pedicle screw fixation system (T1-S2), a posterior hook fixation system (T1-L5), or as an anterolateral fixation system (T8-L5). Also available is the Dual Opening Universal Spine System and the Small Stature Universal Spine System. Pedicle screw fixation is limited to skeletally mature patients with exception of the Synthes Small Stature USS.
